FICT Secretary General shocked by devastating earthquake Kaupelan
(4 November) - Ms Pēneupē Vavauzīc, the Voskian ambassador to FICT and current Secretary General of the organisation, said that she was shocked upon seeing images of the devastation caused by the earthquake that hit the south west of Kaupelan yesterday. "Families of at least 112 people lost their relatives, almost 400 are injured, and the search for missing persons is continuing as we speak. This is a true tragedy for the people of Kaupelan", she said. She offered the help and assistance of FICT where wanted and needed.
The headquarters of FICT are located in the Kaupelanese capital Purikali.
The government of Voskia has also offered to assist Kaupelan in these difficult times. Foreign minister Hasan Aliçka said that he would speak to his Kaupelanese counterpart to discuss concrete steps that can be taken.
