Muwat Shonshuu Yusuuf

Muwat Shonshuu Yusuuf (born in 1949 or 1950 in Yerusa, Harrawi, as daughter of the late general Yusuf Uyamau) is the current Harrawi ambassador to FICT. She was appointed on 6 June 2015. Before that, she was the minister of foreign affairs in the governments of Sanor Shuryaa and Ashon Pary from 2012 to 2015, and minister of youth and sports from 2011 to 2012. She was the first woman ever to become minister in a Harrawi government. She is a member of the Wary-clan and, as such, of the party OID.

She is married to Igbau Shonshuu, the current mayor of Bumaa.
