Lowok Aralangit

Mr. Lowok Aralangit is a Kaupelanese politician and diplomat, born in 1937 in Purikali. Having served as the country's foreign minister during the government of Peter Puramèsar, from 2006 to 2009, he was ambassador to the Forum for International Cooperation of Tiny States (FICTS), serving as its Secretary General in the first half of 2010, and in the successor organisation, the Forum for International Cooperation and Trade (FICT), he served as transitional Chairman from 25 June to 21 October 2011. After this last assignment, Mr. Aralangit retired, and now lives in the city of Tanuwari in the northwest of Kiwangar. Fishing and playing cards became his priorities. Mr. Aralangit died on April 4th, 2020.
