Government of Amargo

Although there are four major political parties in Amargo, they have only a minor influence because the King acts as a dictator. The major political parties are the Social Democrat Party (SPD), the Liberal Party (LP), the Conservative Party (CP) and the Green Party (Verde). The party that gains the most votes in the elections may form a government. Since a majority is needed, this always results in coalitions. Governments are always elected for a five-years term.

The last government was elected in May 2014, a coalition of the LP and the CP.
