Clesh is the official language of the Republic of Clairone. It is a Romance language, spoken by approximately 8 million people around the world. Clairone is a member of the Latin Union

Writing system

Clesh has 17 letters (b, c, d, j, v, t, s, g, p, z, l, f, a, e, i, o, u) and 17 digraphs (jh, nh, sh, lh, th, gh, ch, ss, ea, ei, ue, ie, ai, oe, au, ii, ui), of which seven are consonants. Common geminate consonants are /mm/, /tt/, and /nn/. These don't differ from /m/, /t/, and /n/ in length or pronunciation. Another geminate consonant, /ss/, represents /x/ (ɪks).
