Ăŕva Bekina (Ăʀва Бекіна, born 16 December 1959 in Huśte) was the president of the Adzhatian State from 9 October 2010 to 11 October 2014.
Ăŕva Bekina served in the Adzhatian military until 2005, when he decided to pursue a political career. He still holds the rank of colonel. Bekina became a member of the party Bloc-Ħĭnzei and served as minister of defence from 2007 til early 2010 under prime minister Ereh Ħĭnzei. When the latter however decided to run for president again in that year and didn't tolerate any other candidates from his own party, Bekina resigned as a member and organised a campaign of his own. He won the elections as an independent candidate, but rejoined Bloc-Ħĭnzei in February 2014. Despite being elegible for a second term in office, he didn't become a candidate.
Mr. Bekina is married to Źurvaźd Grećaninŏv; they have three sons.
